Sizing & Fit
Yes, our shoes are true to size, so if you normally wear a size EU38, for example, then we would recommend that you also take a size EU38 in our shoes.
We would, however, like to highlight our Mayfair ballerinas. Many of our Cocorosers have advised us that they have sized down for this style, as they find that they come up larger due to the non-elasticated topline.
If you're in between sizes, we recommend going up to the larger size.
Our shoes have a gently elasticated topline (with pillowed Achilles heel to avoid pinching!), which enables a comfortable fit around your foot.
The exception to this is the Mayfair style, where we would recommend sizing down.
We are often asked about the heel heights of our shoes, considering that many ballerinas have almost non-existent heels. To start with, all of our Cocorose outer soles have heel heights of at least 8mm.
Some styles, such as the Harrow, Pimlico and Hampstead (Black 3D and Black & Leopard) also have an extra concealed wedge heel which is built inside the insole of the shoe. This wedge heel has a gradual elevation, starting from around the middle of the shoe and gradually rising until the heel of the foot is elevated. At its highest elevation point, our concealed heel boasts an extra 1.5cm height on top of our 8mm height, equating to 2.3cm.

For our Hampstead boots (Black & Grey Snakeprint and Black & Black Snakeprint), the outer sole heel height measures 2cm.
For our Hoxton trainers, the flatform outer sole measures 3cm.
Our shoes are constructed using soft leathers which provide a bit of extra 'give' and allows the shoe to mould to your foot. The soft, elasticated topline also helps to accommodate different foot widths.
Our shoes are typically made on a 'Regular' width last, but in our experience and feedback from Cocorosers, the Barbican, Clapham, Sandringham, Hampstead and Mayfair styles have been great for a wider foot.

Even though our shoes are typically made on a 'Regular' last, we do have styles which have a slightly slimmer or wider fit. In our experience, and from our Cocorosers' feedback, the Barnes and Pimlico styles have been great for a narrower foot.
Yes, a number of our loyal customers who have arthritic toes or bunions have shared with us their success stories with Cocorose shoes.
Our foldable leather range are constructed using really soft and pliable leathers, allowing the shoes to mould to your feet and adding an extra bit of ‘give’ to ensure superior comfort.
All of our shoes include a double cushioned insole and padded Achilles heel to provide superior comfort but if you require something a bit extra, no problem. It is possible to fit a standard insole or arch support into our shoes but please be aware that our existing insoles are built-in and non-removable.
How & Where ... to Wear
A great question and one often asked. Our ballerinas, loafers, espadrilles and sandals are all foldable. Our boots and trainers are not foldable.
The concept of foldable shoes is what our pioneering brand has been renowned for since 2007. All of our foldable shoe styles are made with our signature, durable rubber soles which are fully flexible and allows each shoe to be folded in half (toe to heel). Our Hoxton trainers and Hampstead Boots do not fold (and so do not include a complimentary travel purse in the box).

All of our Cocorose shoes are made with double cushioned insoles and an incredibly durable outer sole, ensuring that you can wear your Cocorose shoes outdoors and all day long. For more info, click here.
For our leather range, we recommend applying a protective spray (like Liquiproof) which you can buy at most shoe stores or online to ensure even longer lasting use.
Of course! All of our shoes have breathable insoles and are designed to be comfortable without the need for socks or tights but if you prefer to wear socks, we recommend thin 'pop socks' to stay true to our sizing.
Yes, our packaging is made from recycled materials and is fully recyclable.
We have worked hard with our supply partners to ensure that our beautiful shoe boxes are constructed using 100% recycled materials and are fully recyclable.
The cardboard carton that your shoes are couriered in are also 100% recycled. We also try to recycle & reuse the cartons that are returned to us.

Our Non-Leather Foldable Shoes are pre-folded into a purse that matches the shoes.
Our Leather Foldable Shoes are packed into our special Cocorose boxes, with a complimentary, black travel purse nestled alongside the shoes.
Your foldable Cocorose shoes are designed to fold in half (toe to heel), with the right and left sides laying on top of each other, top-to-tail. The shoes will then fit inside the travel purse which you can then zip up and close.

It depends on where you are in the World. If you order before 12 Noon GMT (Monday-Friday), we will work hard to dispatch your order the same day. After this time, we will dispatch the following working day.
UK Orders will take 1-2 days, depending on the delivery service chosen, and the current Covid-19 impact. We are finding over 95% deliveries are on time, but sorry if your delivery is a little late.
Deliveries overseas will take 3-7 days, although maybe longer during the Covid-19 crisis and lock downs.

For the UK, we tend to use Royal Mail or DPD.
For international deliveries, we partner with DHL, OCS, and DPD (for northern Europe).
If you have a problem with one of the carriers, please let us know and we will try and switch you to another.

At times, we have Pre-Orders available on some models. This is when certain models are nearly ready and are available to order with a pre-determined dispatch date.
At certain times throughout the year, we're able to offer selected styles on a Pre-Order basis.
These styles will be clearly tagged with 'Pre-Order' in the title of the shoes and details of when the shoes will be dispatched will be shown in the Design Details section. Once your purchase has been made, a confirmation of the order will be sent to you and it will confirm that the style is on a Pre-Order and the Dispatch Date.
A purchase of a Pre-Order style means that the shoes are reserved for you, and will be dispatched without any further action from you. We will endeavour to keep you up-to-date with your Pre-Order as we near the dispatch date.
We are pleased to offer a full return and exchange policy within 14 days once you have received your order.

All items sent back to us for an exchange or refund should be in their original condition and in their original packaging, so we recommend trying all shoes on a carpeted surface to avoid any potential soiling or damage.
We aim to dispatch all exchanges within 2 working days of receiving the original item back.
Refunds will be processed within 5 - 8 working days of receiving returned goods.
