Design Notes

Originally designed in collaboration with The Royal Ballet, these black, sequinned Perdita loafers are inspired by The Royal Ballet's iconic production of The Winter's Tale and are truly are a wardrobe staple. They can be paired with everything, from jeans to dresses, and from casual to special occasions. Beautifully hand-crafted with a lace and sequinned textile upper in black, these loafers are stunning on the foot and, just as importantly, are super comfortable to wear. Designed to be worn all day, every day as your first-choice footwear, they also have built-in functionality and flexibility, ensuring they can fold flat into their matching travel purse, for easy portability. Lightweight and compact, they're ideal for your commute, travel or evening out. And, with double cushioned, leather insoles, a soft, glove-like fit and a properly decent outsole, they're amazingly comfy to wear.

1st purchase - Perdita Foldable Shoe

Arrived sooner than I thought. Everything looks as shown. Shoes worn for the 1st time last week. Very comfortable. Only 1 flaw, the zip on the travel purse is split so it doesn't close.

Simply Stunning

I am became disabled after a life changing illness in 1986 and have never been able to wear heels of any size since. As a consequence, I never felt dressed up when I went out because of the struggle I had finding pretty, stylish and comfortable flat shoes. Then I came across Cocorose quite by accident and what a revelation. I wanted the sparkly foldable flats for an evening wedding reception in November, but they were out of stock and I was devastated and completed the 'inform me when back in stock' section, not really expecting to hear anything. How wrong was I. I cannot tell you how excited I was to find an email saying my size was back in stock. Ordering was easy, the size I ordered were a bit snug as I do suffer with swelling. The returns couldn't be easier - the postman even collected from my door. Cocorose staff could not have been more helpful, professional and patient. After 36 years I finally feel confident enough to go out wearing these shoes - I finally feel worth it. Extreme maybe, but 100% true. I cannot recommend them enough and have just my second pair and will no doubt have pair 3 by Christmas.

Sparkle up my life!

They are a lovely pair of shoes, fit like glove. I needed a pair of black ballerinas that are comfortable and smart as we are back in the office now. I will tell you how many complements I got as I am sure I will. One thing I would add into the shoe design is perhaps some sort of reinforcement in the toe area. Food for thought.
