THIS IS HOW I COCOROSE IT
One of the perks of the job is that I get to trial and wear many of our new samples. I recently did a take on our popular Hoxton Rainbow trainers; this time making our rainbow out of leather strips rather than printing it. Although these Bue & Red rainbow trainers haven't made the final cut, there are some really fabulous colourways in the pipeline, including rose gold, black glitter and leopard print. We haven't planned any of these into our production schedule yet, but are considering some limited edition runs for specific events. In the meantime, I would love to hear your thoughts... yay or nay?!

PLANT POWERED TRAINERS
Join us on our journey as we bring to life our innovative cactus leather trainers with soles incorporating recycled cork stoppers...
After weeks of work in progress, our Plant Powered logo is finally ready. I ended up having to simplify the wordings in order to make the print eligible. This is such a great example of the reality between conceptual design (or ideation) versus production. The relationship between these two phases is absolutely essential in the product development process and more often than not, the conceptual design phase may involve multiple rounds of refinement to make production feasible. In this case, I've had to adapt our logo over the past few weeks to make it more practical and to negate any potential manufacturing challenges. Pleased to say we're all good now, and we're steaming ahead with production!
