What shoes to wear to Royal AscotRoyal Ascot takes place on the 18th-23rd June 2019

By far, Royal Ascot is one of the most exciting racing events of the summer and getting dressed for the occasion calls for fabulous-ness and fun. There are strict dressing up protocols that reflect the tradition and history of Royal Ascot, including the requirement to wear a hat and that dresses are of a modest length.

The trick is to look effortlessly stylish  but, as you'll be on your feet for most of the day watching the races and cheering on your bet, having comfortable shoes is of the utmost importance. We totally understand the desire to wear heels and dress up your outfit so it's vital that you take a pair of super stylish and comfortable flats to change into.

What shoes to wear to Wimbledon TennisWimbledon runs from the 1st - 14th July 2019

The world's oldest and most prestigious tennis tournament, Wimbledon marks the start of the British summer and two weeks of glorious tennis, strawberries and cream and bottomless glasses of Pimms, all preferably consumed within the grounds of SW19.

There is no official Wimbledon dress code for spectators, but dressing smartly is encouraged, so wearing the perfect little sundress, preferably in all white, accessorised with your designer shades, Panama hat and smart ballet flats will ensure you can comfortably frequent Centre Court or Court Number One.
Should you not be one of the lucky few to get hold of a golden ticket, Henman Hill or Murray Mound have an electric atmosphere and offers the perfect place for a delightful picnic. Just don't forget to pack a couple of brollies in case of the obligatory shower or two and, as you'll be on grass, heels are a no-no. Opt for flats - ballerinas are ideal as they're smart, pretty, easy to slip on and off for the picnic blanket and comfy for all day.
