Spring into Comfort: Embracing the Return of Ballet Flats

Sara from @welliesandchampagne
Hello Cocorosers 💗

What can be more wonderful and warmly anticipated than the arrival of spring?🌸 As we shed our layers and dare to bare our ankles, another highly anticipated moment is also on the horizon. The return of the ballet flat.

However you feel about this, it's happening! But take heart. Not all flats are created equal, and this we know, having been in the game for almost 17 years now. So if you decide to invest in a pair of ballet flats, please make sure they're a quality pair. Soft, pliable and breathable leathers, particularly if wearing without socks; flexible so they gently mould to your feet and follow your natural movements; and well cushioned and supportive so your feet are lovingly cared for.

Pictured here is the gorgeous Sara from @welliesandchampagne, who celebrated her birthday in the Parisian sunshine and showed us how she styled her leather Harrow ballet flats across the perfect spring getaway capsule wardrobe.

Thank you, as ever, for your support and sending you lots of love,
Janan & Team Cocorose xx

Even though ballet flats are back on the rise, I know for a fact that trainers aren't going anywhere. Phew! Yes, I can hear your sighs of relief!😅 And so, may I highlight these ultra stylish Hoxton trainers with navy and tan stripes which are finally back in stock. Versatile, comfortable and with a hint of gold to jazz up your outfit. So gorgeous for spring and beyond.

Lovely Loretta styled her Buckingham black leather ballet flats beautifully for spring, and showed us just how soft and flexible they are, saying, "These leather ballet flats from @cocoroselondon are not only super stylish, but also the most comfortable ballet flats I’ve ever worn! 🖤 They’re foldable and come with a travel purse, so handy!"

Following our incredible win at the Best Businesswomen Awards last year, I chat with Debbie Gilbert about all things Cocorose, including how the juggle is very real when trying to balance business responsibilities with family life. It's a topic close to my heart and I hope this discussion will offer an interesting insight whilst providing a source of inspiration to many.

At the start of this month, Cocorose London won the FSB (Federation of Small Businesses) Regional Micro Business Award. We'll be heading to the national finals in Blackpool in May!

This week, we were formally presented with our regional award during an enchanting Afternoon Tea reception, held in the Walkie Talkie building in the city of London (can you spot the Shard behind me?). We enjoyed delicious scones, indulged in afternoon tea delights and clinked glasses of prosecco whilst taking in the impressive city skyline.
