In Sara's Shoes

In Your Shoes

We're often asked, "Who is the Cocorose Woman"? But the truth is, our customers aren't a marketing persona and so we don't just have one. Our campaign "In Your Shoes" tells the wonderful stories of our Cocorosers, from all walks of life and from all around the world. Strong, beautiful and completely unique - we can't wait to introduce you to each other.

Cocorose London Hoxton Trainers | Gold Leather and Black Star Sneakers

Starring in this week's In Your Shoes campaign is Sara, who wrote to me from Amsterdam whilst she and her husband were enjoying half term break - free of the teenagers! As an Early Years Practitioner in a primary school, one of the perks of Sara's job is that she, too, gets to enjoy all the wonderful school holidays! And hence she was having an amazing time discovering Amsterdam and exploring the city. In her Cocorose trainers, of course!

"My oh-so-perfectly comfortable shoes. They're perfect for walking around Amsterdam in," said Sara, who was referring to her Hoxton Gold with Black Star trainers. "They are just the most comfortable shoes on the planet. I feel like I'm walking on clouds in them."

Speaking of clouds, isn't it rather fitting that Sara's favourite colours are pink and gold, as they remind her of the sun rise and sun set. All I can say is, I think Sara will be super excited when she sees our latest Hoxton trainer that's due to launch very soon. It's pink with gold stars! Watch this space... they'll be on Pre-Order soon.

Sara is passionate about healthy living - lots of walking, fresh seafood and home-cooked curries. She's rather partial to her butternut squash and chickpea curry topped with crispy onions and a blob of creme fraiche. Who said healthy was boring?! That sounds absolutely delicious!

Saturday is the best day of the week for Sara, as she was born on a Saturday and so were her two little babies. Incidentally, Elin was also born on a Saturday so I can also vouch for it being a beautiful, memorable day.

With two teenagers in tow, I can imagine Sara doesn't get much time to settle down and watch her favourite film Dirty Dancing. Perhaps she'll get a chance during the next half term break although, on second thoughts, that may be rather unlikely, as the family will be heading off to Chamonix for an Easter skiing trip. Here's hoping the apres ski will be just as good - if not even better! - than a night in with Baby, Johnny and the popcorn.

With half term now behind us, it's back to work for Sara and back to school for the teenagers. The six week count down to Easter starts now!
