We've Designed The 2018 BAFTA TV Nominee Gift Bag

We are really looking forward to Sunday the 13th of May because the red carpet will once again be rolled out at the Royal Festival Hall in London Town to celebrate the BAFTA TV Awards! The Virgin TV British Academy Television Awards rewards the very best in television broadcast on British screens and we can't wait to hear the nominations announcement that will take place on the 4th of April. Stay tuned! 2018 marks an incredibly special year for Cocorose London. We've been an Official Gift Partner to BAFTA since 2010 so this is our 9th year of partnering with this world-leading, independent arts charity. We've designed exclusive shoes for the BAFTA Film Awards Nominees Gift Bag and last year our signature foldable shoes were included in the BAFTA TV Awards Nominees Gift Bag. Exciting stuff! For this year's awards, we were invited to design the BAFTA TV Gift Bag (yes, THE Bag!) which has been a real privilege and has caused much excitement (and may we say just a little bit of pressure for Janan!) for all of us at Cocorose HQ. For her design concept, Janan looked to the history of TV for her inspiration whilst also wanting to reflect the red carpet feel of Awards night, so colour and texture were important elements for her to consider and incorporate within the design feel of the bags. The bag is still under wraps and is currently being handmade, one by one by one, but do stay tuned and we'll reveal all in good time! The 2018 Awards will take place on Sunday 13 May and will be broadcast on BBC One.
