London Unfolded... #CocorosingIt in Bermondsey
London. As one of the world’s most vibrant and cosmopolitan cities, it’s no wonder that our capital is a source of inspiration, from technology and entrepreneurial start-ups to art, fashion and film. Drawing on our own London roots, we’ve named each of our shoes after some of our favourite areas, from Bayswater to Shoreditch and Kensington to Hampstead. Let us take you on a tour of London with the latest in our series of blog posts that will explore the different areas our city has to offer. We hope we will inspire you to pick up your Oyster card, slip on your Cocorose shoes and see what our amazing city has to offer you. #LondonUnfolded

Just south of the Thames lies the district of Bermondsey and we've found a perfect little way to spend a Saturday around the area.
A leisurely walk south along the river from London Bridge and past Tower Bridge will take you to the London Design Museum. But don't stop here yet. Instead, head on to Maltby Street Market and the Ropewalk where you will find myriad shops and stalls underneath the railway arches.

From scrumptious baked goodies to mouthwatering savouries and craft drinks, it's difficult not to eat and shop your way along the arches. Further along the railway line is Spa Terminus, also offering treats like freshly roasted coffee, cheeses and meats.
Walk off your gastronomic delights by wandering back to the Design Museum at 28 Shad Thames. The museum is housed in a converted 1940s banana warehouse and offers an inspirational view into the world of design.

The exhibitions change often and cover all sorts of disciplines including product, furniture, graphic, fashion, and architectural design exhibited over two floors.
We think this is a lovely way to spend a Saturday and with so much walking involved, a pair of Cocorose fold up shoes are the perfect companion.
Happy Cocorosing!
