A Cocorose Trip to Town

I was looking through some of the photos from yesterday's tour round town on a typical day of Cocorose foldable fun and thought I'd post them here. Highgate We had a catch up with our local stockist - Nawar - number 13 on the High Street there in Highgate.  Beautiful boutique with a selection of ladies apparel, including of course Cocorose London foldable ballet pumps, and perfect gifts. Bankside We had some samples of our new Spring collection to drop off for a photo shoot. Fingers crossed that shoes will appear in a fantastic national publication next month. We'd been on the go for all of about an hour and 1/2 so clearly time for a cup of something and slice of something nice. Just to keep us going. We popped in to Leon, which is a real favourite for ours. Leon - Bankside Try their Lemon Ginger cake. Made by one of their suppliers, I learned, as we can also get it in Melbury & Appleton deli in Muswell Hill. Took a little side street to snap this find, a building in desperate need of a hair cut. Bankside's architectural answer to Cousin It. I'll be back in a few months to see it in all its Spring Splendor.     Piccadilly - BAFTA Just a few days to go ... We dropped by for a little catch up with the team to see how things are going. As you can imagine the adrenalin is building, making sure all the finishing touches are completed. The Gift Bags have been assembled now and will start their journeys to the selected film distributors, BAFTA HQ and of course The Savoy. Last call of the day was to see us in Covent Garden. With 'the sky starting to bruise'  and to avoid the evil flying rats of Leicester Square, we opted for the Tube. As a perfect vision of continuity we see the torchered soul of Nina Sayers.     Covent Garden - The Royal Opera House Final meeting of the day, and what a beautiful setting. One of London's well kept secrets, you can look out over Covent Garden or over the Paul Hamlyn Hall and marvel at the domed glass roof and signature grand classical portico fronting.

As after all this ..... home, on the number 43.
