To Bath and Back

Team Cocorose London had the pleasure of meeting the stunning and super talented Team GB's Rhythmic Gymnastics Group this week. Rachel Smith, Lynne Hutchison, Annie Barts, Jade Faulkner and Georgina Cassar took part in our exciting photoshoot for 'London Unfolded', our fabulous, super stylish and much anticipated booklet due to launch in January 2013, in preparation for the EE British Academy Film Awards.
Without giving anything away, we can definitely confirm that the pictures are amazing - so please do look out for 'LONDON UNFOLDED' once printed. As you can imagine, we've been brushing up on our knowledge about this amazing sport. To briefly summarise, Rhythmic Gymnastics has been an Olympic sport since 1984 and combines the elegance and artistry of ballet with the discipline of gymnastics. For the first time in Great Britain's history, the Rhythmic Gymnastics Group won their place to compete at the Olympics in the rhythmic group event. What an achievement to compete at the London 2012 Olympics - well done girls; you should be extremely proud!  As we were already in the beautiful and historic town of Bath, we decided to keep it local and explore our surroundings. First stop was Colonna and Smalls, a fabulous coffee shop and heaven for the speciality coffee lover.
Continuing on our quest for local cafes and delis, we popped in to Sam's Kitchen and Deli for a rustic and homemade lunch of roast beef and beetroot cured smoked salmon, finished off with a bloody good virgin mary!
As we wandered around the picturesque town, we came to the Christmas market which was absolutely buzzing and so good to see people out and about, and getting into the festive spirit.
So overall a fantastic day out for Team Cocorose London. Our highlight was definitely meeting the girls of the Rhythmic Gymnastics Team and Cocorosing It with them for the morning. A memorable event and one that we're all very much looking forward to seeing with the launch of London Unfolded.   ‘London Unfolded’ by Cocorose London will be published in January 2013. The EE British Academy Film Awards (BAFTA) will take place on Sunday 10th February 2013. For more information, visit www.bafta.org.uk
