Spotlight On Izzi Of Baslow
Izzi opened her store Izzi of Baslow in 1987 even though she was just twenty-two at the time! Izzi tells us she has always known that she wanted to own her own fashion business and already had experience working for both Harrods and The Burton Buying Group. 
Even though the store has been around for a while, Izzi of Baslow has a contemporary feel. This is helped by Izzi’s fresh flow of concepts and ideas for the store, which keep it developing and evolving, and makes Izzi Of Baslow a continually exciting place to be. When we asked Izzi about her favourite pieces from Izzi Of Baslow she had a hard time choosing because the store is, literally, full of fantastic things. In the end she chose the Max Mara champagne trench, paisley cigarette pants by Marc Cain and all of the Becksondergaard scarves. As well as her favourites, we asked Izzi her opinion on the essentials of this season; “a pair of 7/8th trousers, a white t-shirt and a navy dress – all from from the Marc Cain Collection, a pair of Cocorose London shoes and then plenty of scarves and jewellery to accessorize! Get the right wardrobe staples and then just buy bright or pastel tops to ring the changes”. Fantastic advice. 
And Izzi’s favourite Cocorose ballet pumps? “The Royal Ballet ‘Alice’ pump probably, but it’s just so hard to choose! I would love them all and Izzi Of Baslow stocks twenty-six different styles. Call me the Imelda Marcos of Baslow”.
